2007 Holiday Bazaar & Craft Fair
This is one tradition that keeps on going strong...there was such a demand for space by vendors that tables had to be borrowed and squeezed in to fit everyone! Our talented wood turners, Bob Davis and Bob Winburn displayed their stunning wood pieces, ornaments, bowls, vases, lamps, walking sticks, and decorative items of all kinds. Denise Boehm's Village Botanicals was a big hit with her hand crafted soaps, bath salts, and beaded items. Gail Griswold's signature jewelry collection is always a 'must-see' when working on your gift list. Kim Shingler's homemade greeting cards and ornaments were lovely. Theresa DeGregory's line of natural skin care products grows larger each year. The Robinson children worked hard making ornaments, candles, and other items to sell at their table. Deborah Altenhoff showed off her amazing stained glass sun catchers. Kat Reichard's photography captured imaginations. And so many other Village artisans and crafters showed off their wares. The Women's Guild Bake Sale and Citrus Drive was a great success netting approximately $300 for various WG charities. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard baking, and who donated their lovely citrus. And thanks to the Sandi Dix for organizing the event, Susan Lester and Sandi Jones for manning the snack bar, Jean Henderson and Debbie Seiler for covering the WG table, Leslie Fay for helping out everywhere she was needed, and Grayson Dix for taking photos and helping set up and break down the tables.
