Women's Guild

The Melbourne Village Women's Guild was founded in 1952 by Kate Fick, wife of "Cap" Fick - later the first elected Mayor of Melbourne Village. She did so because she felt there was a need for a forum to allow Village women to get to know each other. Over the years the WG has expanded from a social organization to encompass service functions as well. It provides interesting, entertainnig, informative, and instructive monthly programs for the women of Melbourne Village.
